Data Collection and Usage

YT Organizer ("we", "our", or "the extension") is designed to prioritize your privacy.

1. Local Data Processing

  • All organization data (columns, card positions, notes) is stored locally on your device using the browser's storage.local API.
  • We do not transmit your board configuration, notes, or watch history to any external server.

2. YouTube Data

  • The extension scrapes video titles, channel names, and thumbnails from the YouTube page you are viewing only when you explicitly use the "Classify" or "Organizer" features.
  • This data is used solely to display your Kanban board and is stored locally on your device.

3. Third-Party Services

  • LemonSqueezy: If you choose to purchase a Pro license, payment processing and license verification are handled by LemonSqueezy.
    • When verifying a license, the extension sends your License Key to the LemonSqueezy API.
    • We do not store your payment details (credit card numbers, etc.).

4. Permissions

  • storage: Required to save your board configuration.
  • activeTab: Required to read video details from the current YouTube page.
  • https://api.lemonsqueezy.com/: Required to verify Pro license keys.
